Topographical Surveys
We focus on the capture and survey of 3D data and conventional surveys to produce high quality accurate representations of parts of the earth’s surface and the associated project infrastructure. Detail surveys of sites showing existing infrastructure, elevations, property boundaries and any other features pertinent to the design process. We utilize a combination of unmanned aerial based mapping (drone surveys), conventional ground survey methods.
Digital terrain modelling contours and site plans for As Built surveys. These type of surveys are carried out and normally supplied to Civil Engineers or Hydrological Engineers for them to use in the design of various services like Water reticulation, upgrading of roads, sewer and storm-water infrastructure.
Open pit quarry and mine surveys for end of month volume determination.
Volume Surveys on construction sites: This is done for the purposes of estimating or determining volumes of excavated or imported material for contractors to submit their claims of such materials and earthworks.
Tailings and waste dump survey and volumes.
Aerial Surveys
In this regard drone technology is employed for the purposes of progress monitoring on mines and construction sites, site development plans for Town Planning and Architectural purposes. The aerial images can also be converted to accurate topographical maps using photogrammetric software available to us. This also includes sourcing of satellite mapping for planning and resource prospecting.
Property/Cadastral Surveys
Property, Cadastral and Sectional Title surveying concerns itself with both the boundaries of land, buildings or servitudes and the rights associated with land. These surveys are carried out to define new property or section boundaries so that land or sections may be transacted with certainty, legality, transferability and inheritability. We also specialize in the re- establishment of existing property boundaries so that disputes between neighbors can be settled amicably. Property, Cadastral and Sectional Title surveys are regulated under the Land survey Act (Act 8 of 1997) and the Sectional Title Act (Act 95/1986). They may only be undertaken by Professional Land Surveyors registered with the Geomatics Council of South Africa (the professional body governing the Land surveying industry in South Africa). Proof of registration for all our staff can be supplied if requested.
Property Surveys
For urban and rural land properties and boundaries including:
Property boundary establishment for new townships, subdivisions of existing land parcels (urban land and farms), consolidations of two or more land units into one, servitudes to protect existing services e.g. water pipelines, municipal sewer lines, right of way (existing access roads) and irrigation boreholes and dams.
- The survey and obtaining of approved Surveyor General Property diagrams and General Plans for new Townships Establishments’
- The relocation of property beacons.
This is carried out for the purposes of determining whether there is encroachments on existing properties and resolve boundary disputes amicably. Beacon certificates signed by a registered land surveyor will then be issued out thereafter. The certificate can be used to acquire occupation certificates on as part of court documents as evidence in a land dispute matter.
Property Surveys – For Sectional Title Surveys:

- Creation of new sectional title schemes.
- The amending of exiting sectional title schemes resulting from building alterations and as a result existing sections.
- The consolidation of two or more existing sections
- Exclusive use areas for parking and gardens.
